DAvid schneiderman- Principal
David Schneiderman is the Co-Founder and Principal of Four Winds Real Estate. Mr. Schneiderman’s responsibilities include property acquisitions, underwriting, capital raising, asset management and leasing. Previously, Mr. Schneiderman served as Senior Vice President, Director of Acquisitions for Sand Capital, where his responsibilities included sourcing new transactions directly from financial institutions, managing a team of portfolio analysts and managing the acquisition process. Prior to Sand Capital, Mr. Schneiderman was a Director of The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group in New York City. His responsibilities at the firm included the origination and placement of fixed and floating rate debt, joint venture and preferred equity, and mezzanine financing for retail, office, industrial, hospitality, multifamily, land and condominium transactions. Prior to joining Ackman-Ziff, Mr. Schneiderman spent four years at Lehman Brothers as one of the founding members of the firm’s Sports Advisory & Finance Group. At Lehman Brothers he was responsible for capital raising and providing M&A advice for sports franchises, as well as current and prospective sports franchise owners. He worked on a number of high-profile transactions, including the sale of the New Jersey Nets to Forest City Ratner Companies, the sale of limited partnership interests in the New York Yankees and The Walt Disney Company’s divestiture of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he was a member of SG Cowen’s Leveraged Finance Group. Mr. Schneiderman has closed over $3 billion in debt and equity financings and over $1 billion in M&A advisory transactions. Mr. Schneiderman earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from New York University.
JoShua Landau- principal
Joshua Landau is the Co-Founder and Principal of Four Winds Real Estate. Mr. Landau focuses on acquisitions, development, asset management, operations and leasing. Mr. Landau has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and has completed over 1,000,000 SF of projects valued at over one billion dollars. Previously, Mr. Landau founded Integrated Capital, a full service real estate investment, development and advisory firm in December 2003. Integrated was responsible for the acquisition, operation, management and disposition of over 500,000 SF of real estate including mixed use, multi-family, hotel, office and general hospitality / entertainment. Previously, Mr. Landau was an executive at RCDolner, a New York City metropolitan area contractor of prominent projects, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s American Wing, the Kimmel Student Center at New York University, the Andaz by Hyatt Hotel, and the new East River Plaza retail complex. During his time at RCDolner, Mr. Landau’s responsibilities included managing multiple development projects. Mr. Landau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Masters of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
